On Topological Properties of IF Approximation Spaces

open access: yesFuzzy Information and Engineering, 2015
Rough approximation operators in approximation spaces are the core concept of rough set theory, which draw close links between rough set theory and topology.

FEATURE SELECTION APPLIED TO THE TIME-FREQUENCY REPRESENTATION OF MUSCLE NEAR-INFRARED SPECTROSCOPY (NIRS) SIGNALS: CHARACTERIZATION OF DIABETIC OXYGENATION PATTERNS [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Diabetic patients might present peripheral microcirculation impairment and might benefit from physical training. Thirty-nine diabetic patients underwent the monitoring of the tibialis anterior muscle oxygenation during a series of voluntary ankle flexo ...

Three-Way Fuzzy Sets and Their Applications (II)

open access: yesAxioms, 2022
Recently, the notion of a three-way fuzzy set is presented, inspired by the basic ideas of three-way decision and various generalized fuzzy sets, including lattice-valued fuzzy sets, partial fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, etc.

Two kinds of average approximation accuracy

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology
Rough set theory places great importance on approximation accuracy, which is used to gauge how well a rough set model describes a target concept. However, traditional approximation accuracy has limitations since it varies with changes in the target ...

Slime Mould Games Based on Rough Set Theory

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, 2018
We define games on the medium of plasmodia of slime mould, unicellular organisms that look like giant amoebae. The plasmodia try to occupy all the food pieces they can detect. Thus, two different plasmodia can compete with each other.

Feature Selection In Document Clustering Using Rough Set Theory [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the ACS Advances in Computer Science, 2007
One fundamental aspect of rough set theory is the search of subsets of attributes that provide the same information for classification purposes as the full set of attributes. In this paper, application of rough set theory to feature selection in document

ABL kinase‐dependent phosphorylation of SH proteins promotes their direct interaction with CRK family SH2 domains

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Roughness in Membership Continuous Function

open access: yesمجلة المختار للعلوم, 2021
In this paper, we introduce the new definition of rough membership function using continuous function and we discuss several concepts and properties of rough continuous set value functions as new results on rough continuous function and membership ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.
