Development of a Virtual Environment for Monitoring Underwater Electrical Cables by an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Based on Fuzzy Cellular Automata [PDF]

open access: yesProblems of the Regional Energetics
The object of the study is to enhance operational efficiency and reduce fuel consumption of autonomous underwater vehicles during the monitoring of underwater electrical and optical cables based on FCA under conditions of uncertainty. To achieve the goal

Treatment of Anaphylaxis in Adults: A Questionnaire Survey [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Objective: To identify the medications that medical students, interns and casualty medical officers are likely to prescribe when treating an adult patient with anaphylaxis, and to ascertain the dose and route of administration of adrenaline they would ...

Log-periodic route to fractal functions

open access: yes, 2001
Log-periodic oscillations have been found to decorate the usual power law behavior found to describe the approach to a critical point, when the continuous scale-invariance symmetry is partially broken into a discrete-scale invariance (DSI) symmetry.

Rapid screening of staphylokinase protein variants using an unpurified cell‐free expression system

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
An unpurified cell‐free protein synthesis (CFPS) platform enables rapid functional screening of staphylokinase variants. Direct plasminogen‐activation assays performed in microplate format provide real‐time activity readouts, allowing rapid identification and ranking of variants with improved or reduced fibrinolytic activity without protein ...

SOLUTION METHOD OF DYNAMIC ROUTING AND WAVE LENGTH ASSIGNMENT PROBLEM FOR WDM NETWORKS WITH TAKING INTO ACCOUNT FOUR-WAVE MIXING EFFECT [PDF]

open access: yesНаучно-технический вестник информационных технологий, механики и оптики, 2016
The problem of dynamic route selection and wavelengths assignment in WDM networks is solved. This problem is important in WDM network management when requests are serviced for short-term connection installation and excess traffic is transferred.

Route to Direct Multiphoton Multiple Ionization

open access: yes, 2011
We address the concept of direct multiphoton multiple ionization in atoms exposed to intense, short wavelength radiation and explore the conditions under which such processes dominate over the sequential.

Blood‐based proteomic profiling reveals context‐dependent changes in BCL2‐associated signaling during taxane therapy in breast cancer patients

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.

Outcomes and nursing progress on children with Clostridium difficile infection after faecal microflora transplantation by different routes

open access: yesHuli yanjiu, 2020
The outcomes and related nursing care of children with Clostridium difficile infection(CDI) after faecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) by ascending and descending routes were reviewed. It was pointed out that both ascending routes and descending routes

A simple proof for visibility paths in simple polygons

open access: yes, 2020
The purpose of this note is to give a simple proof for a necessary and sufficient condition for visibility paths in simple polygons. A visibility path is a curve such that every point inside a simple polygon is visible from at least one point on the path.

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.
