The radio spectrum is a precious resource that demands efficient utilization as the currently licensed spectrum is severely underutilized [1]. Cognitive Radio (CR) [2–4], which adapts the radios operating characteristics to the real-time conditions, is the key technology that allows flexible, efficient and reliable spectrum utilization in wireless ...

RRM parameters in multilayer multiservice scenarios
2004 IEEE 15th International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications (IEEE Cat. No.04TH8754), 2005This work presents an exhaustive analysis of the main parameters used for radio resource management algorithms as call admission, congestion control and system monitoring, for a multilayer and multiservice UMTS environment. Macrocell and microcell scenarios have been studied both separately and jointly, and the variations on load factor, throughput and

A new model to improve the performance of RRM
Proceedings of the 6th International Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing Conference, 2010Research interest of radio resource management is always focusing on the performance improvement of RRM algorithm. Paper proposed a new model, Integrated RRM Performance Increasing Model (IRPIM), for the operation on real network. Based on the integrated management of whole RRM parameters, IRPIM can enable the scenarios based parameter control and ...

In this chapter, we first discuss the single user MIMO system and its optimal power allocation solution. Then, we present two classes of MIMO system models: MAC (multiple access channel) and BC (broadcast channel). Their optimal power allocation computation is provided. More solid and more efficient computation are set up in this book.

Risk-Reducing Mastectomy (RRM)
2021Hereditary breast and ovarian cancer (HBOC) syndrome comprises breast and ovarian cancer at exceptionally high rates in patients who have genetic mutations in BRCA 1 and/or BRCA 2 genes. Risk-reducing mastectomy (RRM) and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy are effective preemptive strategies for women with BRCA mutations.

The RRM is based on the premise that proteins with the same biological function or interactive activity have the same periodic components in the distribution of delocalised electron energies along the protein molecule. This has been shown by considering protein as a numerical sequence representing each amino acid in the sequence with a corresponding ...

This chapter introduces a suggested system development life cycle “relay race methodology” (RRM). The RRM is based on the philosophy of relay race, where each runner in the race must hand off the baton within a certain zone, usually marked by triangles on the track race. This chapter is comprised of nine sections.

Robotics Resource Management (RRM)
2023Human resource management (HRM) is vital to the success of government and non-governmental organizations. More businesses are replacing human-performed jobs globally with robots. The next step could be fully autonomous systems in which robots run entire businesses. We're already seeing an increase in this phenomenon, in which hotel and dining services,

The Physical Meaning of the RRM
1997Mathematically obtained RRM characteristic frequencies of macromolecular biological functions can be considered as resonant energy transfer between in teracting molecules. This energy can be transferred through oscillations of a physical field which may be electromagnetic in nature.
