Optimal Design of Multiple Moving Average Charts

open access: yesQuality and Reliability Engineering International, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The moving average control chart has been used to detect changes in a process mean more quickly than the Shewhart chart. The MA chart takes an unweighted average of the most recent w$w$ values and uses this to make an inference regarding the stability of the process.

Strategic Spatial Segregation in Silicon Photoelectrodes: Decoupling Catalytic and Optical Functions for High‐Efficiency Solar Water Splitting

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 6, Issue 5, May 2025.
A novel spatial segregation strategy for silicon photoelectrodes is demonstrated, where catalyst wires surrounded by tapered microwires effectively decouple competing optical and catalytic requirements. This architectural innovation enables optimal light absorption and catalytic activity while maintaining efficient charge transport, achieving 96.5 ...

ANPGT: Towards Adaptive Node Property Extraction and Integration

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Graph transformers (GTs) with elaborate positional/structural encodings (PEs/SEs) have excelled in graph representation learning, especially in graph‐level tasks. However, their potential in large‐scale node classification remains untapped for several reasons: (i) Current PEs/SEs are insufficient in modelling large‐scale real‐world graphs ...

Tritium content in vegetation cover at nuclear test locations at the “Sary-Uzen” site in the Semipalatinsk Test Site

open access: yesEcotoxicology and Environmental Safety
Numerous areas of the Semipalatinsk Test Site (STS) were subjected to radioactive contamination, including tritium. The tritium content in plants was determined in free water (TFWT) and in the organic component (OBT). It has been established that the OBT

Statewide sanctuary policies and female homicide rates, 2016–2021

open access: yesCriminology, EarlyView.
Abstract The current study examines whether state immigration enforcement policies, such as sanctuary policies that limit local police cooperation with federal immigration enforcement, are associated with female homicide rates in the United States (2016–2021).

Factors Affecting Surgical Outcomes Following Rotationplasty in Paediatric Sarcoma: A Literature Review

open access: yesANZ Journal of Surgery, EarlyView.
Rotationplasty is a durable limb‐salvage option for paediatric lower‐limb sarcoma. Across 58 studies and 1,217 patients, long‐term functional, psychosocial, and quality‐of‐life outcomes were favourable, often surpassing amputation and endoprosthetic reconstruction.

Toxicokinetic modelling of the synthetic cannabinoid 5F‐MDMB‐P7AICA and its main metabolite in pigs following pulmonary administration

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Aims Since their emergence on the drug market, synthetic cannabinoids (SC) are still gaining increasing importance in forensic toxicology. The representatives of the so‐called new psychoactive substances have in common that they have not undergone preclinical safety studies. Hence, knowledge on toxicokinetic (TK) data is sparse.

A systematic review of school‐based interventions to promote digital resilience in children

open access: yesBritish Journal of Developmental Psychology, EarlyView.
As demonstrated through the graphical abstract, this systematic review provides insight into schoo‐based online safety interventions and the components that make these interventions effective. There was a specific focus on digital resilience and how this was identified in each intervention. Abstract This systematic review investigates the novel concept

Research Software Engineering Research: RSE Research & RSE Metascience

open access: yes
This presentation explores Research Software Engineering Research (RSE Research), a field focused on understanding and enhancing the development of software for research purposes. It also considers whether software engineering can be viewed, in some sense, as a form of metascience applied to software.
