Bifurcation of drift wave turbulence trapping by zonal flows near density limit

open access: yesNuclear Fusion
We investigate drift wave—zonal flow interactions near the density limit and demonstrate transitions of turbulence trapping states. Nonlinear simulations of the modified Hasegawa–Wakatani model reveal two robust types of turbulence energy localization ...

In vitro and in silico modelling of ROS1‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer reveals fusion‐dependent tyrosine kinase inhibitor responses

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

Towards a Generative Frame System of Ancient Chinese Timber Architecture: Structural Generation and Optimization of “Column Reduction” and “Column Relocation”

open access: yesBuildings
In traditional Chinese timber architecture, “column reduction” (Jian Zhu Zao) and “column relocation” (Yi Zhu Zao) enhances spatial continuity, yet often produces bending-dominated, material-intensive frames. This study develops a generative frame system

Circulating microRNA signatures of cachexia and cancer in Canis familiaris as a comparative oncology model for human disease

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Circulating microRNAs as biomarkers of cachexia and sex‐specific cancer in senior dogs. In 25 client‐owned dogs, four circulating miRNAs (miR‐15a, miR‐15b, miR‐16, miR‐140) were downregulated in cachexia, with miR‐16 the strongest individual biomarker (AUC = 0.899).

From LLM narratives to parameterized cooperation policies in multi-agent systems

open access: yesFrontiers in Artificial Intelligence
IntroductionLarge language models (LLMs) can generate persuasive narratives that shift agent behavior in multi-agent systems, but deploying raw, unstructured text as an influence mechanism offers no formal guarantees on effectiveness, interpretability ...

Epigenetic silencing of the liver‐specific lncRNA LUNAR promotes liver cancer progression via NOTCH activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
LUNAR is a liver‐specific long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) that is highly expressed in normal liver but becomes epigenetically silenced in hepatocellular carcinoma through promoter hypermethylation. Loss of LUNAR is associated with NOTCH activation, epithelial–mesenchymal transition, and metastasis, whereas restoring LUNAR restrains metastatic progression ...

Etude préliminaire de la stabilité à l'hydrolyse des polyimides 6F Preliminary Study of the Hydrolysis Stability of 6f Polyimides

open access: yesOil & Gas Science and Technology, 2006
L'évaluation comparative du comportement en solution des polylmides 6F fait ressortir que ces nouveaux polymères, doués d'une stabilité thermique élevée par référence à l'analyse thermogravimétrique, ont, par contraste, une résistance beaucoup plus ...

Translating whole‐genome doubling into precision medicine in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Whole‐genome doubling creates a WGD‐positive tumor state characterized by persistent chromosomal instability, karyotypic diversification, and cellular stress. These same biological pressures drive aggressive tumor evolution while exposing therapeutic vulnerabilities, providing a rationale for WGD‐informed precision medicine. Whole‐genome doubling (WGD)

Targeting transcription factors associated with hemoglobinopathies: Lessons from successful interventions and implications for cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review summarizes the transcription factors, repressive chromatin‐modifying complexes, and epigenetic mechanisms that control fetal hemoglobin repression. Notably, many regulators of γ‐globin silencing also function in transcriptional and epigenetic networks that drive cancer, highlighting opportunities to translate advances in hemoglobinopathy ...

Theoretical Approaches to the Concept of Legal Relations

open access: yesСибСкрипт
A state governed by the rule of law establishes balanced legal relations. This article describes four scientific and theoretical approaches to the concept of legal relations, i.e., legal, subject-object, moral, and socio-psychological.
