Fast‐Responding O2 Gas Sensor Based on Luminescent Europium Metal‐Organic Frameworks (MOF‐76)
Luminescent MOF‐76 materials based on Eu(III) and mixed Eu(III)/Y(III) show rapid and reversible changes in emission intensity in response to O2 with very short response times. The effect is based on triplet quenching of the linker ligands that act as photosensitizers. Average emission lifetimes of a few milliseconds turn out to be mostly unaffected by

Ruthenium polypyridyl peptide conjugates: membrane permeable probes for cellular imaging [PDF]
Two novel polyarginine labelled ruthenium polypyridyl dyes are reported, one conjugated to five, (Ru-Ahx-R5), and one to eight arginine residues, (Ru-Ahx-R8). Both complexes exhibit long-lived, intense, and oxygen sensitive luminescence.

A previously unreported coordination motif stabilising single Fe atoms by indigo chelation and pyridyl coordination on Au(111) has been revealed. By using planar tritopic pyridyl linkers (TPyB), extended 2D porous networks of indigo3(TPyB)2Fe6 form. These networks can be crystalline or vitreous and offer an environment where individual coordination ...

SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF FULLERENE-PYRIDYL ARENE RUTHENIUM COMPLEXES
Association of [60]fullerene with arene ruthenium moieties has been achieved for the first time. Two fullerenopyrrolidine derivatives (Npyr-C60) were synthesized via a 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition, and coordinated to arene ruthenium complexes to form two ...

Preparation of Ruthenium Dithiolene Complex/Polysiloxane Films and Their Responses to CO Gas
To develop advanced materials using metal complexes, it is better to prepare metal complexes contained in composite or hybrid films. To achieve this purpose, we synthesized ruthenium complexes with dihalogen-substituted benzendithiolate ligands, [(η6 ...
