Polymetallic Cu-Bi-(Pb-Zn-Co-Ag) mineralization of the Perin Potok locality near Bor, Serbia [PDF]

open access: yesGeološki Anali Balkanskoga Poluostrva, 2013
Complex polymetallic Cu-Bi-(Pb-Zn-Co-Ag) mineralization of the Perin Potok locality occurs as disseminations and fine nests in quartz-ankerite-(sericite) veins. The veins are located in metamorphic rocks of the outer contact zone of the Variscan

Time‐Dependent Oxidation and Scale Evolution of a Wrought Co/Ni‐Based Superalloy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study shows how a new wrought Co/Ni‐based superalloy resists oxidation at 800 ∘$^\circ$C. The oxide scale changes from rough, fast‐growing spinel to a dense, protective chromia–alumina layer. Atom probe analysis reveals tiny refractory‐rich bubbles at the interface that mark the transition to long‐term, diffusion‐controlled protection ...

Textural evolution and phase transformation in titania membranes: Part 2. - Supported membranes [PDF]

open access: yes, 1993
Nanostructural evolution and phase transformation in supported and unsupported titania membranes have been studied using Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM).

In Situ Study of Resistive Switching in a Nitride‐Based Memristive Device

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In situ TEM biasing experiment demonstrates the volatile I‐V characteristic of MIM lamella device. In situ STEM‐EELS Ti L2/L3 ratio maps provide direct evidence of the oxygen vacancies migrations under positive/negative electrical bias, which is critical for revealing the RS mechanism for the MIM lamella device.

Structure of a model TiO2 photocatalytic interface [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The interaction of water with TiO2 is crucial to many of its practical applications, including photocatalytic water splitting. Following the first demonstration of this phenomenon 40 years ago there have been numerous studies of the rutile single-crystal

Ultrastable Photoactive Halide Perovskite Nanocrystal‐Sensitized SnO2 Nanorods for Room‐Temperature NO2 Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Metal oxide (MOx)‐based NO2 gas sensors typically require high temperatures or ultraviolet light, limiting their practical use. To enable visible‐light activation at room temperature, efficient and stable photosensitizers should be integrated with nanostructured MOx hosts.

Synthesis of bio-active titanium oxide coatings stimulated by electron-beam plasma

open access: yesOpen Chemistry, 2014
Advantages of the electron-beam plasma (EBP) for production of bioactive titanium oxide coatings were experimentally studied. The coatings were synthesized in EBP of oxygen on the surface of plane titanium substrates.
