A Novel Technique to Detect Code for SAC-OCDMA System
Journal of Optical Communications, 2016Abstract The main task of optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) system is the detection of code used by a user in presence of multiple access interference (MAI). In this paper, new method of detection known as XOR subtraction detection for spectral amplitude coding OCDMA (SAC-OCDMA) based on double weight codes has been proposed ...

A Review on Code Families for SAC–OCDMA Systems
2019A comprehensive survey on different code families for Spectral Amplitude Coding–Optical Code Division Multiple Access (SAC–OCDMA) systems. Review on one- and two-dimensional codes reported is taken into account. Study indicates the feasibility of codes and further scope of these codes. System design of SAC–OCDMA is also explained.

Improved SAC-OCDMA System With Multiple Incoherent Sources
IEEE Photonics Technology Letters, 2008The effect of a nonuniform spectrum on performance of a spectral amplitude coded optical code division multiple access system is investigated. The signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) as a function of nonuniformity of the source spectrum has been computed. Use of multiple sources is proposed to reduce spectral nonuniformity of the source and consequently

Modelling of FBG for encoding/decoding in SAC-OCDMA system
International Conference on Next Generation Networks, 2010A SAC-OCDMA system is proposed to be used in passive optical networks. Performance of the system depends on the spectral characteristics of the elements used such as optical source, encoding/decoding elements etc. An uniform FBG (UFBG) is proposed to be used for encoding/decoding of the SAC-OCDMA system.

Increasing the Capacity of SAC-OCDMA by Using OFDM Modulation
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2015Optical CDMA (OCDMA) systems have received more attention because CDMA allows many users share the same transmission medium asynchronously and simultaneously with a high level of transmission security. In this paper, we describe the improved performance of the spectrum amplitude coding (SAC) OCDMA system using OFDM technique compare to SCM/SAC-OCDMA ...

Performance analysis of integrated SAC-OCDMA and OFDM technique over FSO
2017 IEEE International Conference on Advanced Networks and Telecommunications Systems (ANTS), 2017Recently, the free space optical communication (FSO) is gaining popularity because of its high data rate, license free spectrum, less power. The major drawbacks of FSO are absorption, scattering and atmospheric turbulence that affect the performance of FSO in terms of bit error rate (BER) and hence, limits the transmission distance.

Performances Analysis of Novel Proposed Code for SAC-OCDMA System
Journal of Optical Communications, 2020AbstractThe development of SAC-OCDMA system is based on the creation of new code structure. A novel proposed code structure is called ZFD that is based on the combination of various matrix creation methods and especially on the factorial function. This approach has not been exploited before in the OCDMA system.
