Cooperative Function of Atg8‐ and TORC1‐Mediated Activities in Yeast
The atg8Δ mutant is sensitive to rapamycin, and both lipidation‐dependent and ‐independent functions of Atg8 are necessary for survival during impaired TORC1 activity. Atg8‐ and TORC1‐mediated functions may contribute to maintaining vacuolar functions.

Crystal structure of the folded domains of Xrs2 from Saccharomyces cerevisiae
We present the 2.4 Å resolution X‐ray crystal structure of the N‐terminal folded domains of S. cerevisiae Xrs2, confirming a tandem FHA–BRCT1–BRCT2 domain architecture similar to that of Schizosaccharomyces pombe Nbs1. Comparative structural analyses and electrostatic surface mapping suggest that the FHA and tandem BRCT domains serve as a key binding ...

Structural analyses of ABA transporters give new impetus to the study of ABA regulation
Abscisic acid (ABA) regulates key physiological processes and coordinates abiotic stress responses. In the six decades since it was first described, a huge amount of work has been conducted on ABA synthesis, breakdown and signalling mechanisms. Recently, attention has been turned to the role of ABA transporters, and the elucidation in exquisite detail ...
