Composites of Shellac and Silver Nanowires as Flexible, Biobased, and Corrosion‐Resistant Transparent Conductive Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

Treatment of Colloidal Waste Material by Electroflotation Using Sacrificial Electrodes.

open access: yesKAGAKU KOGAKU RONBUNSHU, 1993

Transformation and loss of excretal nitrogen under winter management systems : a thesis submitted in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Soil Science at Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Excreta from cattle animals contain large amounts of nutrients, particularly nitrogen, which could lead to substantial gaseous losses of ammonia and nitrous oxide to the atmosphere, as well as nitrogen leaching.

Smart, Bio‐Inspired Polymers and Bio‐Based Molecules Modified by Zwitterionic Motifs to Design Next‐Generation Materials for Medical Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Bio‐based and (semi‐)synthetic zwitterion‐modified novel materials and fully synthetic next‐generation alternatives show the importance of material design for different biomedical applications. The zwitterionic character affects the physiochemical behavior of the material and deepens the understanding of chemical interaction mechanisms within the ...

Unveiling the effect of sacrificial agent amount in the CO2 photoreduction performed in a flow reactor

open access: yesJournal of CO2 Utilization
The use of sacrificial agents in photocatalysis is a powerful resource to enhance the performance of photoactive materials. Despite its importance, the effect of the amount of sacrificial agent is not properly described in the literature.

“Sacrificial complexes” of the Pyany Bor culture burial grounds in the Vyatka river basin

open access: yesПоволжская археология, 2014
A clearly defined element inherent in funeral traditions of the Finno-Ugric cultures in the period of the Early Iron Age to the Middle Ages, which was specified by V.F. Gening as a “sacrififcial complex”, is considered in the study.

PEDOT‐Based Eutectogel Electrode Arrays for Enhanced High‐Resolution Electrogastrography: Fabrication, Stability, and Wearable Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Here, we present a high‐density PEDOT eutectogel electrode array for enhanced body surface gastric mapping. Silver electrodes are blade‐coated onto flexible substrates, followed by electrogelation of PEDOT:PSS and the deposition of a PEDOT:LS eutectogel.
