Complete mitochondrial genome of the yellow-spotted grayling Thymallus flavomaculatus (Salmoniformes, Salmonidae) [PDF]

open access: yesMitochondrial DNA Part B, 2016
The complete mitochondrial genome was sequenced in two individuals of yellow-spotted grayling Thymallus flavomaculatus. The genome sequences are 16,659 bp in size, and the gene arrangement, composition and size are very similar to the salmonid fish genomes published previously.

Bony fish genomes: Status and gaps

open access: yesJournal of Fish Biology, EarlyView.
Abstract Bony fish constitute an exceptionally species‐rich group of aquatic vertebrates, comprising more than 95% of all living fish. The adaptive processes on the diversity of environments they inhabit make them a highly diverse group from taxonomic, morphological and evolutionary standpoints.

Pharmacokinetics, Optimal Dosages, and Withdrawal Time of Florfenicol in Cobia (Rachycentron canadum) After Oral Administration via Medicated Feed

open access: yesJournal of Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Antimicrobial drugs are commonly used for the treatment of bacterial diseases in cobia (Rachycentron canadum), but information regarding the rationale of their therapeutic use, such as pharmacokinetics (PK), optimal dosages, and withdrawal time (WDT) in this species is very rare.
