Alteration characteristics of the sandstone-type uranium deposit in Qianjiadian, Inner Mongolia
The Qianjiadian deposit is a typical epigenetic sandstone-type uranium deposit. The host Yaojia Formation of the Upper Cretaceous age was reduced and altered due to migration of organic fluids from a deeper part of the basin. The main types of alteration comprises reducing of iron, argilitization, carbonatization, and pyritization of host rocks.
