Ferroptosis in Cancer and Inflammatory Diseases: Mechanisms and Therapeutic Implications

Ferroptosis, a form of cell death driven by iron and lipid peroxidation, serves as a bridge between cancer and inflammatory diseases. Microenvironmental factors such as oxidative stress collectively regulate this process. In cancer, ferroptosis exhibits dual roles: while it eliminates drug‐resistant cells, it may also promote tumor metastasis.

Spatially explicit estimation of the Bawean deer population using antler‐based male identification and sex and age ratios

The total Bawean deer population was estimated at 250.39 (95% CI = 156.46–352.97), including 118.97 (95% CI = 72.92–173.67) females and 20.23 (95% CI = 11.50–32.11) fawns; while male survival was high (0.93 ± 0.02), recruitment was low (0.06 ± 0.02), as was the fawn‐to‐doe ratio, with ~17 fawns per 100 does.

Machine Learning Analysis of Single‐Voxel Proton MR Spectroscopy for Differentiating Solitary Fibrous Tumors and Meningiomas

Our study reinforces the critical role of the myoinositol peak at 3.56 ppm in distinguishing between solitary fibrous tumors and meningiomas. Notably, combining short and long TE enhances classification performance, particularly in challenging outlier cases.
