Conserved structural motifs in PAS, LOV, and CRY proteins regulate circadian rhythms and are therapeutic targets

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

SAT-To-SAT in QBFEval 2016

open access: yesCEUR Workshop Proceedings, 2016
In this short paper, we describe QBF solvers from the latest QBFEval that were based on the SAT-To-SAT solver. We present the main ideas behind the solvers and discuss their strengths and weaknesses.

Seroprevalence studies of human brucellosis in pyrexia of unknown origin (PUO) patients by various diagnostic modalities

open access: yesJournal of Family Medicine and Primary Care
Background: Brucellosis is a re-emerging zoonosis with global distribution. In India, it remains common but often neglected. In Rajasthan, where agriculture is prevalent, frequent contact with infected animals such as goats, sheep, and cattle leads to ...

An upstream open reading frame regulates expression of the mitochondrial protein Slm35 and mitophagy flux

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

« Mon compte-rendu n’est que la défense continuée » : étude et analyse des écrits du for privé d’avocats de part et d’autre de la Révolution française à travers l’exemple des Mémoires de Dupin aîné

open access: yesCriminocorpus, 2016
For a long time, studies on lawyers, as for all the socio-professional groups, have been considering mostly the institutional sources, and rarely focused on personal, or even intimate, writings.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Almost automorphic solution for some stochastic evolution equation driven by Lévy noise with coefficients S2−almost automorphic

open access: yesNonautonomous Dynamical Systems, 2016
In this work we first introduce the concept of Poisson Stepanov-like almost automorphic (Poisson S2−almost automorphic) processes in distribution.

PICALM::MLLT10 translocated leukemia

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This comprehensive review of PICALM::MLLT10 translocated acute leukemia provides an in‐depth review of the structure and function of CALM, AF10, and the fusion oncoprotein (1). The multifaceted molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis, including nucleocytoplasmic shuttling (2), epigenetic modifications (3), and disruption of endocytosis (4), are then ...
