SAT-Based Decision Procedures for Automated Reasoning: a Unifying Perspective [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Propositional reasoning (SAT) is an essential part of many reasoning tasks. Many problems in computer science can be compiled to SAT and then effectively decided using state-of-the-art solvers.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Measuring Transit Oriented Development of Existing Urban Areas around Metro Stations in Faridabad City

open access: yesInternational Journal of Built Environment and Sustainability, 2018
Urban population in Indian cities is encouraging auto reliance and having unsafe economic, social and environmental consequences. Land-use-change patterns are the outcome of the complex relations between the human and the physical surroundings.

SAT-IT: The Interactive SAT Tracer

open access: yes, 2023
In this work we present the Interactive SAT Tracer (SAT-IT), a visual and interactive tool to monitor and illustrate the basic algorithms for solving the Boolean Satisfiability Problem (SAT). We consider three algorithms with progressively increasing sophistication: simple backtracking, its extension with unit-propagation, so called Davis-Putnam ...

PICALM::MLLT10 translocated leukemia

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This comprehensive review of PICALM::MLLT10 translocated acute leukemia provides an in‐depth review of the structure and function of CALM, AF10, and the fusion oncoprotein (1). The multifaceted molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis, including nucleocytoplasmic shuttling (2), epigenetic modifications (3), and disruption of endocytosis (4), are then ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Supervisees' and supervisors' experiences of group climate in group supervision in psychotherapy. Effects of admission procedure [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of two different admission procedures (high school grades/scholastic aptitude test (SAT) versus high school grades/SAT + interview) to a program in professional psychology on students' and supervisors'

SAT in Silence [PDF]

open access: yesDevelopmental Cell, 2009
X chromosome inactivation triggered by Xist RNA can only occur in specific developmental contexts. In this issue of Developmental Cell, Agrelo et al. show that the nuclear matrix protein SATB1 is a critical determinant of Xist responsiveness.

Inhibiting stearoyl‐CoA desaturase suppresses bone metastatic prostate cancer by modulating cellular stress, mTOR signaling, and DNA damage response

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Bone metastasis in prostate cancer (PCa) patients is a clinical hurdle due to the poor understanding of the supportive bone microenvironment. Here, we identify stearoyl‐CoA desaturase (SCD) as a tumor‐promoting enzyme and potential therapeutic target in bone metastatic PCa.

Epizootiološko istraživanje slinavke i šapa u Sudanu: stanje nakon dva desetljeća [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
In order to update information on the situation regarding foot and mouth disease (FMD) in the Sudan, a serosurvey and disease survey were conducted. Recently collected data on FMD in the Sudan showed that FMD is a major constraint to animal production in
