High resolution spatial variability in spring snowmelt for an Arctic shrub-tundra watershed [PDF]
Arctic tundra environments are characterized by spatially heterogeneous end-of-winter snow cover because of high winds that erode, transport and deposit snow over the winter.

Targeting DESI2 as a Novel Therapeutic Strategy for JAK2‐Mutant Leukemias
Mass spectrometry‐based proteomics identify DESI2 as a novel component of the JAK2‐V617F complex, which associates with and stabilizes mutant JAK2 through deSUMOylation and deubiquitination, therefore promoting JAK2 mutant cell growth and MPN disease onset in vivo.

On the molecular mechanism of surface charge amplification and related phenomena at aqueous polyelectrolyte-graphene interfaces [PDF]
In this communication we illustrate the occurrence of a recently reported new phenomenon of surface-charge amplification, SCA, (originally dubbed overcharging, OC), [Jimenez-Angeles F. and Lozada-Cassou M., J. Phys. Chem.

This study highlights the significance of non‐canonical splicing variants in male infertility, a factor often overlooked during the analysis of high‐throughput sequencing data. Incorporating the non‐canonical splicing variants prioritization in the genetic analysis pipeline will increase the genetic diagnosis of patients with male infertility ...

The SCA-FEL can now provide FEL beams to users in a wavelength range extending from longer than 3.5 to shorter than 0.5 /spl mu/m. Harmonic generation can extend the short-wavelength range. As an example of the operational characteristics, during a 3 week run in May-June 1989, the SCA-FEL provided 18 days of FEL beam at 16-18 hours/day.

Where Can Aluminum Go When Batteries Die?
Battery‐derived aluminum is transformed from contaminated waste into an alloying resource for high‐performance Fe‐based alloys. Through controlled Al content and processing, dual‐phase austenite/ferrite microstructures with TRIP‐like behavior are achieved.
