Limit Distributions and Scaling Functions [PDF]
We discuss the asymptotic behaviour of models of lattice polygons, mainly on the square lattice. In particular, we focus on limiting area laws in the uniform perimeter ensemble where, for fixed perimeter, each polygon of a given area occurs with the same probability. We relate limit distributions to the scaling behaviour of the associated perimeter and

Solid Pseudopapillary Neoplasm of the Pancreas in Children and Adolescents: Expert Recommendations
ABSTRACT Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of the pancreas (SPN) is a rare low‐grade malignant exocrine pancreatic tumor, mostly discovered during the second decade of life in females, with a very good prognosis, provided microscopically complete surgical excision is achieved.

Complexity and scaling in quantum quench in 1 + 1 dimensional fermionic field theories
We consider the scaling behavior of circuit complexity under quantum quench in an a relativistic fermion field theory on a one dimensional spatial lattice.

ABSTRACT Neuroblastoma's complex, heterogeneous biology poses significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges, often requiring caregivers to absorb complex information and participate in time‐sensitive decisions. However, caregivers often feel unprepared to evaluate options.

Scaling of Lagrangian structure functions
We use stochastic closure theory and generalized Green-Kubo relations to show that the velocity structure functions have two distinct scaling regimes connected by a passover. Initially, after a brief ballistic (Batchelor) scaling, the structure functions

Experimental Research on Evolutionary Path Planning Algorithm with Fitness Function Scaling for Collision Scenarios [PDF]
This article presents typical ship collision scenarios, simulated using the evolutionary path planning system and analyses the impact of the fitness function scaling on the quality of the solution.

Impact of Metastatic Patterns on Survival and Response to Therapy in Neuroblastoma
ABSTRACT Background While the presence of metastases in neuroblastoma (NB) is a well‐established prognostic factor, the clinical significance of dissemination patterns and tumour burden and their impact on response and survival remains poorly understood.

Application of the Scaling Functions to Nonparametric Regression [PDF]
For estimating regression function we can use many proceedings. In this paper, we have chosen to apply scaling functions to the estimation of regression functions.
