A scanning electron microscope (SEM) study of the smear layer in root canals.

Journal of Marmara University Dental Faculty, 1991
A Scanning Electron Microscope was used to study the so-called "smear layer" produced in biomechanically prepared root canals. Fine, freshly-extracted incisors were used and the canals instrumented with K-type files and irrigated with 5% NaOCI and 3% H2O2. The structure of the "smear layer" produced was investigated.

Scanning electron microscopic (SEM) study of rats aorta exposed to chlopyrifos

2013
Atherosclerosis is defined as a slow process of inflammation fuelled by deposition of lipids. The pathogenesis of atherosclerotic changes is associated with low High Density Lipid (HDL) and the mechanism is believed to be due to the low level of paraoxonase 1 (PON-1) located on it.
