The Beginning of Scanning X-ray Microscopy at Daresbury

At the Synchrotron Radiation Source (SRS) of the Science and Engineering Research Council’s (SERC) Daresbury Laboratory, England, the U5 undulator beamline has been built as a tunable source of soft (200–2000eV) x-rays appropriate for a scanning transmission x-ray microscope (STXM).
