Entanglement transmission through dense scattering medium

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2020
Scattering effects are ubiquitous in practical wireless optical links. Here a transmission model with complete consideration of scattered light and beam wandering effects for underwater link is developed, with the aim to completely characterize the ...

Ag@SiO2 Core-shell Nanoparticles Embedded in a TiO2 Mesoporous Layer Substantially Improve the Performance of Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2018
In this study, Ag@SiO2 nanoparticles were synthesized by a modified Stöber method for preparing the TiO2 mesoporous layer of carbon counter electrode-based perovskite solar cells (PSCs) without a hole transporting layer.

The Effect of Scattering on Pulsar Polarization Angle [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
The low-frequency profiles of some pulsars manifest temporal broadening due to scattering, usually accompanied by flat polarization position angle (PA) curves.

SELECTION OF SHF-BACKSCATTERING MODEL OF THE SEA SURFACE WITH REGARD TO SHADOWING [PDF]

open access: yesRadio Physics and Radio Astronomy, 2023
Subject and Purpose. The article is devoted to the analysis of theoretically and experimentally obtained values of the specific effective sea-scattering surface in the region of super-high-frequencies (SHF).

Coherent Multiple Scattering Effect in DIS [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics A, 2007
We present a QCD calculation of the coherent multiple scattering effect on single hadron production in semi-inclusive lepton-nucleus deep inelastic scattering (DIS). We show that the destructive interference of coherent multiple scattering leads to suppression in hadron productions.

Scattering of Partially Coherent Vector Beams by a Deterministic Medium Having Parity-Time Symmetry

open access: yesPhotonics, 2022
We study the scattering properties of the partially coherent vector beams with the deterministic media having the classic symmetric and parity-time (PT) symmetric scattering potential functions.

Analytical approach to study the scattering of protons at the boundary of stack of inhomogeneous slabs in proton therapy [PDF]

open access: yesمجله علوم و فنون هسته‌ای, 2022
In proton therapy, as a prominent method for treating tumors, investigation of transport of the protons in the matter, which is a result of three main interactions of stopping, scattering, and nonelastic nuclear interactions, is highly important.

Light scattering in colloidal dispersions: Effects of multiple scattering

open access: yesJournal of Colloid and Interface Science, 1985
We outline the derivation of expressions for higher-order scattered electric field strengths, including both multiple inter- and intraparticle scattering events, although only the former are of practical interest. Next an ensemble-averaging procedure for calculating the averages of second-order quantities is proposed and subsequently applied to derive ...

Modelling nuclear effects in neutrino scattering [PDF]

open access: yesProgress in Particle and Nuclear Physics, 2006
We have developed a model to describe the interactions of neutrinos with nucleons and nuclei via charged and neutral currents, focusing on the region of the quasielastic and Delta(1232) peaks. For neutrino nucleon collisions a fully relativistic formalism is used.
