Tracking the optimal configuration of a Bluetooth scatternet

The IEEE Conference on Local Computer Networks 30th Anniversary (LCN'05)l, 2005
In this work we present an approach for maintaining the topology of a Bluetooth scatternet at an optimal configuration despite the dynamic behavior of the nodes in time. Our goal is to keep the ratio of the average scatternet throughput and node power consumption as high as possible while nodes unpredictably change their communication peers and migrate

A Novel Scatternet Scheme with IPv6 Compatibility

Mobile Networks and Applications, 2003
Some market analysts predict that there will be some 1.4 billion Bluetooth devices in operation by the year 2005 [8]. However, the current specification 1.1 does not describe the algorithms or mechanisms to create a scatternet due to a variety of unsolved issues [3,12].

Bluetooth scatternets: criteria, models and classification

Ad Hoc Networks, 2005
Bluetooth ad hoc networks are constrained by a master/slave configuration, in which one device is the master and controls the communication with the slave devices. The master and up to seven active slave devices can form a small Bluetooth network called a piconet.

Bluenet - a new scatternet formation scheme

Proceedings of the 35th Annual Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences, 2003
Bluetooth is a novel promising local area wireless technology designed to enable voice and data communication among various electronic devices. We believe that Bluetooth networks will provide reliable, flexible and cost-efficient telecommunication support for the post-deregulation electric power systems.

A traffic-aware scheduling for bluetooth scatternets

IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, 2006
Bluetooth is a low cost, low power, short-range radio technology used for wireless personal area networks (PANS). Bluetooth scatternet is a set of piconets interconnected via bridge devices. Good interpiconet schedulings are necessary for bridge devices to switch among piconets they participate in.

ScatterNet Hybrid Frameworks for Deep Learning

2018
Image understanding is the task of interpreting images by effectively solving the individual tasks of object recognition and semantic image segmentation. An image understanding system must have the capacity to distinguish between similar looking image regions while being invariant in its response to regions that have been altered by the appearance ...

Automatic Gateway Selection in Bluetooth Scatternet

2004
Bluetooth is a emerging wireless technology for personal area networks(PANs). It can replace cables for PANs with its low cost, low power consumption properties. A small bluetooth network, a piconet, can be extended to form a larger ad hoc network; a scatternet. A scatternet requires a number of bluetooth devices capable of linking piconets as gateways.

Scatternet oluşumu ve scatternet üzerinde adresleme için uygulanabilir bir yaklaşım

2021
Bluetooth is an emerging connectivity technology. Its profile basedapplications are evolving. However many of these applications are working on onehop scenarios. There are many types of applications where multi hop scenarios willbe useful. To route messages between piconets, we need interval nodes running onmore than one piconet.
