Concepts and Algorithms for Agent-based Decentralized and Integrated Scheduling of Production and Auxiliary Processes [PDF]
Individualized products and shorter product life cycles have driven companies to rethink traditional mass production. New concepts like Industry 4.0 foster the advent of decentralized production control and distribution of information. A promising technology for realizing such scenarios are Multi-agent systems.

Hermansky‐Pudlak syndrome type 1 (HPS‐1) is a rare, autosomal recessive disorder with poorly understood renal involvement. Urinary extracellular vesicle (uEV) proteomics and a novel Hps1 mouse model reveal mitochondrial abnormalities and lipid accumulation in HPS‐1 kidney proximal tubule cells. Serum ApoA1 correlates with kidney function in our patient

Job Shop Scheduling via Deep Reinforcement Learning: a Sequence to Sequence approach [PDF]
Job scheduling is a well-known Combinatorial Optimization problem with endless applications. Well planned schedules bring many benefits in the context of automated systems: among others, they limit production costs and waste. Nevertheless, the NP-hardness of this problem makes it essential to use heuristics whose design is difficult, requires ...

Evaluating performance of production scheduling from an economic perspective [PDF]
Production scheduling which is a part of the planning and control of production units lies at the heart of the performance of manufacturing organizations. Production scheduling determines organizational performance.

Scheduling for Flexible Manufacturing System with Objective Function to be Minimization of Total Processing Time and Unbalance of Machine Load [PDF]
For scheduling in flexible manufacturing system (FMS), many factors should be considered, it is difficult to solve the scheduling problem by satisfying different criteria (production cost, utilization of system, number of movements of part, make-span, and tardiness in due date and so on) and constrains.

The mitochondrial outer membrane iron–sulphur ([Fe‐S]) protein mitoNEET is a target of the type‐2 diabetes drug pioglitazone. Its unknown molecular function is linked to respiratory complex activity and mitochondrial function. We discovered that O2 protects the mitoNEET [2Fe‐2S] cluster against NO oxidation and desensitization towards reduction by H2S.
