Diabetic bone marrow exhibits pathological ECM hyperviscosity that activates TRPV2‐mediated Ca2⁺ influx, leading to perinuclear F‐actin disassembly, nuclear deformation, and chromatin condensation. This cytoskeletal‐nuclear decoupling suppresses osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs.

Informal scholarly communication
Christina Pikas, The Impact of Information and Communication Technologies on Informal Scholarly Scientific Communication: A Literature Review, a paper for a doctoral seminar at the University of Maryland College of Information Studies, May 13, 2006. PS: Pikas only mentions OA once, in the title of one work in the bibliography. Yet according to her

Europe and Its Scholarly Communities
The essay explores the idea that we think of works of scholarship as documents marking belonging to communities, rather than as the texts of a socially ungrounded science. It uses examples from social scientific works that study contemporary European construction to suggest the importance of incorporating into one's view apparently contradictory ...

Decoding Human Placental Cellular and Molecular Responses to Obesity and Fetal Growth
Women with obesity often deliver large‐for‐gestational‐age (LGA) infants. Single‐nucleus RNA sequencing of term placenta reveals that hypoxia and TNF‐α signaling in syncytiotrophoblasts are featured in maternal obesity, but inflammatory signatures in Hofbauer cells and response to lipid or carbohydrate metabolism in fibroblasts are specific to LGA.

Extracellular vesicles (EVs) released from TGF‐β‐activated CAFs are enriched with ECM proteins such as TSG6 and THBS1, which facilitate their binding to recipient cell membranes. This EV–cell interaction promotes the clustering of CD44 and TGF‐β receptors on the target cell surface, thereby potentiating TGF‐β signaling activity. This study highlights a

Artificial Neuron Based on Electrical Anisotropy from WSe2 Field Effect Transistors
An artificial neuron was realized based on the anisotropic mobility of WSe2. Dendritic and axon‐multisynaptic performance of a neuron was achieved with optical and voltage pulses. Recognition accuracy of handwritten digits was obtained to 97% based on the synaptic weight of an artificial neuron.

Intervertebral disc degeneration is triggered by ACSL4 accumulation‐mediated ferroptosis of nucleus pulposus cells due to CMA dysfunction. KAT2B promotes ACSL4 degradation via CMA through acetylation. AAV‐mediated LAMP2A delivery or engineered exosomes rescue nucleus pulposus cell senescence and disc degeneration.
