Mitigating Disability Bias in Hiring: The Role of Inclusion‐Focused Generative AI in Complex HR Decisions

open access: yesHuman Resource Management Journal, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This research investigates how inclusion‐focused generative AI (GAI), designed with diversity, fairness, and inclusion principles, mitigates disability bias in hiring—particularly under complex, cognitively demanding conditions. Drawing on Construal Level Theory, two experiments with HR professionals (N = 117; 238) compared standard, inclusion‐

Schur - convex Function [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Cilj ovog rada je sistematizirati neke rezultate o Schur-konveksnim funkcijama koji omogućuju njihovu identifikaciju te ukazati na njihovu ulogu u izvođenju nejednakosti.

Quasisymmetric expansions of Schur-function plethysms

open access: yes, 2012
Let sµ denote a Schur symmetric function and Qα a fundamental quasisymmetric func-tion. Explicit combinatorial formulas are developed for the fundamental quasisymmetric expansions of the plethysms sµ[sν] and sµ[Qα], as well as for related plethysms ...

Cyclic Sieving and Plethysm Coefficients [PDF]

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics & Theoretical Computer Science, 2015
A combinatorial expression for the coefficient of the Schur function $s_{\lambda}$ in the expansion of the plethysm $p_{n/d}^d \circ s_{\mu}$ is given for all $d$ dividing $n$ for the cases in which $n=2$ or $\lambda$ is rectangular.

Schubert Polynomials and $k$-Schur Functions [PDF]

open access: yesThe Electronic Journal of Combinatorics, 2014
The main purpose of this paper is to show that the multiplication of a Schubert polynomial of finite type $A$ by a Schur function, which we refer to as Schubert vs. Schur problem, can be understood combinatorially from the multiplication in the space of dual $k$-Schur functions.

Mixed Super‐Circles

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract We introduce mixed super‐circles, a position‐curvature formulation of the original dynamic 2D super‐helix model. Compared to the latter, purely curvature‐based model – the so‐called chained formulation –, the mixed formulation that we propose here drastically reduces the algorithmic complexity of the solving scheme – from quadratic to quasi ...

Lagrange Inversion and Schur Functions [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Algebraic Combinatorics, 2000
The author considers the Macdonald involution \(\psi\) of the ring \(\Lambda\) of symmetric functions defined by the conditions that \(\psi(h_{\lambda})=h_{\lambda}^{\ast}= h_{\lambda_1}^{\ast}h_{\lambda_2}^{\ast}\cdots\) and \(tH^{\ast}(t)=t+h_1^{\ast}t^2+h_2^{\ast}t^3+\cdots\) is the compositional inverse of \(tH(-t)\), where \(H(t)=\sum_{n=0 ...

Refining generic limits in Hyacinthinae (Asparagaceae, Scilloideae): Conflict and concordance between morphology and phylogenomics

open access: yesJournal of Systematics and Evolution, EarlyView.
Using Angiosperms353 and plastid genome skimming approaches, the generic limits of Hyacinthinae were explored using DNA sequences to better understand their evolution. Floral morphology, a traditional generic delimiter, conflicts with the molecular groupings in many cases, but bulb morphology and cytogenetics define similar groups to DNA.

Schur function identities, their t-analogs, and k-Schur irreducibility [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Retrieved October 30, 2007 from http://xxx.lanl.gov/find/grp_math/1/au:+Morse_J/0/1/0/all/0/1.We obtain general identities for the product of two Schur functions in the case where one of the functions is indexed by a rectangular partition, and give their

Operator (p, η)-Convexity and Some Classical Inequalities

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2020
In this paper, we will introduce the definition of operator p,η-convex functions, we will derive some basic properties for operator p,η-convex function, and also check the conditions under which operations’ function preserves the operator p,η-convexity ...
