Resistance of Botrytis cinerea to anilinopyrimidine fungicides: A novel ARMS‐PCR method for the detection of Bcpos5 mutations and characterization of resistance using CRISPR/Cas9 editing

open access: yesPest Management Science, EarlyView.
A TETRA‐primer amplification refractory mutation system polymerase chain reaction (T‐ARMS‐PCR) method was developed for simultaneous detection of the L412F/V and G408V mutations. L412F/V mutants were created using the CRISPR/Cas tool and no fitness cost was observed.

Table_5_Genomic and Transcriptomic Insight of Giant Sclerotium Formation of Wood-Decay Fungi.XLSX [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
Many fungi form persistent and dormant sclerotia with compact hardened mycelia during unfavorable circumstances. While most of these sclerotia are small in size, Wolfiporia cocos, a wood-decay fungus, grows into giant sclerotia, which are mainly composed

The occurrence of sclerotium rot on Catharanthus roseus caused by Sclerotium rolfsii in South Korea [PDF]

open access: yesAustralasian Plant Disease Notes, 2014
In May 2013, an occurrence of sclerotium rot was observed on rosy periwinkle (Catharanthus roseus) plants grown in a seedling greenhouse in Jinju, South Korea. The typical symptoms included blighting and rotting, and severely infected plants eventually died.

Combined application of Bacillus velezensis JDB15 and Trichoderma harzianum JDL4 suppresses banana Fusarium wilt under controlled conditions

open access: yesPest Management Science, EarlyView.
The surfactin C secreted by JDB15 and the probable parasitism of JDL4 lead to the leakage of intracellular macromolecules and the degradation of hyphae, respectively. Combined application of the two strains effectively controls banana Fusarium wilt under controlled conditions.

Acquired cycloheximide resistance in Neurospora crassa and Sclerotium rolfsii [PDF]

open access: yes, 1985
Acquired resistance to the antibiotic cycloheximide developed by Neurospora crassa and Sclerotium rolfsii was studied. Both the fungi gained certain level of tolerance to the antibiotic just after a single exposure and by serial transfers could adapt to ...

Efficiency of different strains of Trichoderma on the control of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Sclerotium rolfsii and Sclerotium cepivorum

open access: yesActa Scientiarum. Biological Sciences, 2022
The aim of this work was to verify the efficiency of different isolates of Trichoderma spp. on the control of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Sclerotium rolfsii and Sclerotium cepivorum, and the influence they pose on the conidia production of Trichoderma spp.
