Majallah-i ̒Ilmī-i Shīlāt-i Īrān, 2015 The survey of fish larvae assemblage variation was done in 2013 seasonally at the coastal areas of Southeastern side of Chabahar Bay. Sampling was done in 3 stations at day and night periods by a Bongo-Net with 300μ of mesh size.

Marine Research in Indonesia, 2018 Analyses of morphometric data suggest that there are two species within the genus Rastrelliger, namely brachysoma and kanagurta. Rastrelliger neglectus is considered to be a synonym of R. brachysoma. Both species exhibit intraspecific geographical variations in some of their morphological characters.

Türlerin mtDNA üzerinde bulunan Sitokrom b, 12S rRNA ve COI bölgeleri PZR ile çoğaltılmış ve dizi analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir.
