CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

In this paper the author studies social preference functions (SPFs) which, given the voters' strict preferences \(R\) over some set of alternatives, compute a non-empty set of winning rankings \(\succ\) over a feasible subset of the alternatives. Two of the most prominent classes of SPFs are positional scoring rules and Kemeny's rule, both of which ...

Development of a human-computer collaborative sleep scoring system for polysomnography recordings.
The overnight polysomnographic (PSG) recordings of patients were scored by an expert to diagnose sleep disorders. Visual sleep scoring is a time-consuming and subjective process.

A predictive tool for an effective use of 18F-FDG PET in assessing activity of sarcoidosis
Background 18F-FDG PET/CT (PET) is useful in assessing inflammatory activity in sarcoidosis. However, no appropriate indications are available. The aim of this study was to develop a prediction rule that can be used to identify symptomatic sarcoidosis ...

Conserved binding mode but diverse interfaces of MreC‐PBP2 interactions
The crystal structure of abMreC reveals a conserved two β‐barrel architecture and provides structural insights into its role within the bacterial elongasome. The abMreC–abPBP2 complex model identifies the molecular basis of MreC‐mediated PBP2 recognition, contributing to the regulation of peptidoglycan synthesis.

Asymptotic minimum scoring rule prediction [PDF]
Most of the methods nowadays employed in forecast problems are based on scoring rules. There is a divergence function associated to each scoring rule, that can be used as a measure of discrepancy between probability distributions.

Ligand‐dependent transcriptional heterogeneity in cell cycle gene expression delays G1/S entry
EGF and HRG induce distinct G1/S progression programs in ErbB2‐amplified BT474 breast cancer cells. Despite activating the potent ErbB2–ErbB3 heterodimer, HRG does not accelerate cell‐cycle entry. Instead, EGF promotes earlier restriction‐point passage via ERK–FOS signaling, whereas HRG activates the AKT–MYC axis, driving transcriptional heterogeneity ...
