Effects of Chamber Width on H2/Air Rotating Detonations
To get the effects of chamber width on the H2/Air rotating detonations, several models with different widths have been investigated. By using a one-step chemical reaction model, one wave is induced in all models.

Abstract Nonlinear extensions to the active subspaces method have brought remarkable results for dimension reduction in the parameter space and response surface design. We further develop a kernel‐based nonlinear method. In particular, we introduce it in a broader mathematical framework that contemplates also the reduction in parameter space of ...

Rate Constants and Energetics of the H2SiO + H Reaction System: RP-VTST/MT and VRC Calculations. [PDF]
The decomposition of Silaformaldehyde (H2SiO) involves three reactions: H + H2SiO → H2 + HSiO (R1), H + H2SiO → H2SiOH (R2), and H + H2SiO → H3SiO (R3). Accurate energetics were calculated using ωB97X‐D and CCSD(T), and rate constants using CVT methods with multidimensional tunneling.

Thermal compression effects within a fundamental, hydrogen-fuelled scramjet
The impact of thermal compression on combustion has been studied experimentally in a hydrogen-fuelled, non-uniform scramjet flowpath. The experimental model consisted of a three-dimensional inlet, a constant area rectangular combustor, and a single-ramp ...

Influence of the Multicavity Shape on the Solid Scramjet
In this paper, a modular solid scramjet combustor with multicavity was proposed. The influence of multicavity shape on the performance of solid scramjet was investigated by the direct-connected tests. The experiments simulated a flight Mach 5.5 at 25 km.
