Mechanical Activation of Piezo1 Drives Osteoarthritis Through Kdm5c‐Mediated Epigenetic Silencing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Excessive mechanical stress activates Piezo1, triggering Ca2+‐dependent cytoskeletal forces that deform the nucleus and reduce H3K4me3. Kdm5c demethylates H3K4me3 at Col2a1 and Runx3 promoters. Kdm5c knockout rescues degradation. Repurposed telmisartan directly inhibits Kdm5c, blocking this axis and showing disease‐modifying efficacy in mouse OA models

Design of Horizontal Tube Chain Conveyor Scraper Pitch [PDF]

open access: yesTEM Journal, 2020
Tube chain conveyor is a new type of energy saving and high efficient continuous conveying equipment with flexible traction components. Due to the lack of theory research, in the domestic TCC compared with the foreign one there are some shortcomings including high energy consumption, small size, small applicable scope, etc.

The Role of Actual and Purported Origin in e‐Commerce Wine Pricing: Evidence From Italian and French Names on Labels

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The origin of a product, if associated with good quality, can contribute to building a positive collective reputation, leading to a potential price premium. However, it is conceivable that a producer markets a product by evoking symbols, images, words, and values typical of places other than where it was designed or produced, creating a ...

Energy consumption optimization of scraper conveyors adopting rolling friction: A technological revolution in China’s coal mining equipment

open access: yesJournal of Industrial Safety
As the core equipment of fully mechanized mining, the scraper conveyor performs the important task of coal transportation. However, the scraper conveyor often consumes excessive energy during its operation due to local friction, resulting in energy waste.

Visualizing ESG Signaling Through User‐Generated Content: A Strategic Foresight Framework for Symbolic Legitimacy in Hospitality Branding

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Social media platforms today have become essential for consumer‐brand interactions, with visual content playing a pivotal role in shaping engagement and brand perception. Although text‐based user‐generated content (UGC) has been widely studied, the potential of visual UGC, particularly in the travel, tourism and hospitality (TTH) sector ...

Research on the transportation model and coal quantity calculation algorithm of scraper conveyor based on array

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua
Currently, most research on coal quantity detection focuses on the coal quantity detection and recognition of underground belt conveyors in coal mines. The coal quantity detection of scraper conveyors in fully mechanized working (caving) faces only stays

The Digital‐Sustainability Disconnect: A Test of Strategic Alignment in the Circular Economy Transition

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study challenges the common assumption that digital and sustainability transformations are naturally synergistic. Integrating signaling theory and the dynamic capability view, we argue that for many firms, particularly traditional SMEs, these initiatives are pursued on separate, unaligned strategic tracks, creating a “signaling‐substance ...

Finite Element Analysis of Vibration and Noise of Scraper Conveyor [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 2015 International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management Science, 2015
The noise pollution produced by the scraper conveyor affects the working environment seriously. Based on a certain type of the scraper conveyor transmission system as a research object, using the finite element analysis software ANSYS for modal analysis, the results suggested that the natural frequencies of scraper and chute were the same in the 15 th ...

Linking Age‐Diversity Practices and Company Ratings Over Time: Evidence From Employer Reviews and a Longitudinal Experiment

open access: yesJournal of Organizational Behavior, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT As global populations age, organizations face increasing pressure to support an age‐diverse workforce. Although age‐diversity practices have been shown to yield individual benefits, their temporal impact on broader evaluations of the organization such as employees' company ratings remains underexplored.
