Measuring New Venture Legitimacy: A Multi‐dimensional Approach Using Computational Textual Analysis

open access: yesBritish Journal of Management, EarlyView.
Abstract Legitimacy is critical for the growth, survival and performance of ventures, yet efforts to measure legitimacy empirically typically focus on a single dimension of this multi‐dimensional construct. In this article, we develop a multi‐dimensional framework for measuring legitimacy using computational text analysis.

The Swanscombe fossil at 90: revisiting its phylogeny, taxonomy, and place in human origins Le fossile de Swanscombe, 90 ans après : retour sur sa place phylogénique, taxonomique et dans les origines de l'humanité

open access: yesJournal of the Royal Anthropological Institute, EarlyView.
The year 2025 marked the ninetieth since a fossil hominin occipital bone was discovered in Swanscombe, southeast England. In subsequent years, its parietal bones were found, producing what remains the oldest partial cranium from Britain today. In the earliest analyses, it was interpreted as a descendant of the infamous fraudulent fossil Piltdown Man ...

The upgrading of the tubular scraper conveyor junction points

open access: yesNOVYE OGNEUPORY (NEW REFRACTORIES), 2017
The ways of problems solution are presented which arise during the operation of the tubular scraper conveyors intended for the bulk and small pieces abrasive materials transportation. The problems which arise mostly often are: the pulling chain seizure in the loaded turnable section, the pipes and scrapers wear and tear, the penetration of the conveyed

Leveraging AI to Capture Textual and Visual Elements: Insights for HRM Research and Practice

open access: yesHuman Resource Management Journal, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper advances Human Resource Management (HRM) scholarship by introducing an accessible method to analyse of both visual and textual social media content in combination. Although HRM studies increasingly mobilise social media data, most approaches remain text‐centric, overlooking the HR‐relevant cues, embedded in images, that can inform ...
