Desmoplastic Seborrheic Keratosis

The American Journal of Dermatopathology, 2003

Comparative Immunohistochemical Study of Hidroacanthoma Simplex and Clonal Seborrheic Keratosis With GATA3 and p63

American journal of dermatopathology, 2021
: Histopathologically both hidroacanthoma simplex (HS) and clonal seborrheic keratosis (CSK) are characterized by intraepidermal nests of tumor cells. Although they show subtle microscopic differences, they can be difficult to accurately differentiate ...

Dermoscopy of inflamed seborrheic keratosis: A great mimic of malignancy

Australasian Journal of Dermatology, 2021
Clinical and dermoscopic recognition of seborrheic keratoses (SKs) is often straightforward, and biopsy might not be required. However, inflamed SKs (iSKs) can pose a diagnostic challenge. Dermoscopic features of iSKs have not yet been evaluated to date.

Treatment of Seborrheic Keratosis

JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association, 1970
To the Editor.— The report of F. E. Mohs, MD ( 212 :1956, 1970), entitled "Seborrheic Keratoses: Scarless Removal by Curettage and Oxidized Cellulose" is deserving of some comment. Dr. Mohs has made other very valuable original contributions to medicine, but curettage removal is probably preferred by the majority of the breed of dermatologists.

Evaluation of ultrahigh‐resolution optical coherence tomography for basal cell carcinoma, seborrheic keratosis, and nevus

Skin research and technology, 2020
Basal cell carcinoma, seborrheic keratosis, and nevus are common skin conditions. Though most of the skin diseases can be distinguished from each other by physician's naked eyes, the diagnostic accuracy is not 100%.

KERATOSIS (SEBORRHEIC AND SENILE)

Archives of Dermatology, 1949
IN THE past, the keratoses arising in senile or actinic skin were considered in the same category and not differentiated. The nomenclature and descriptions of these lesions caused confusion. More recent investigation has recognized two types, 1 the senile (senile keratosis, keratoma senilis, hyperkeratosis senilis) and the seborrheic (seborrheic ...

Basaloid tumors arising from seborrheic keratosis: Malignant basal cell carcinoma or benign basaloid follicular hamartomatous proliferation?

Journal of cutaneous pathology, 2020
Basaloid tumors arising from seborrheic keratosis (SK) that resembled basal cell carcinoma (BCC) were infrequently observed in our patients. They also exhibited morphologic features similar to those of trichoblastoma or basaloid follicular hamartoma.
