Cosmetic Acupuncture for Facial Aging: Anatomy, Mechanobiology, and Clinical Evidence—A Narrative Review

open access: yesJournal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Volume 25, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Cosmetic acupuncture is increasingly used for facial rejuvenation, but many proposed mechanisms are extrapolated from general acupuncture research, skin mechanobiology, wound‐healing models, or related percutaneous procedures. Direct evidence linking facial needling to structural remodeling of human skin remains limited.

Time to Clinical Dryness and Wound Outcomes After Drainless DAA Total Hip Arthroplasty With Standardized Multilayer Symmetric PDS Plus Closure: Bikini Versus Longitudinal Incisions

open access: yesOrthopaedic Surgery, Volume 18, Issue 10, Page 2153-2166, October 2026.
Standardized drainless DAA‐THA closure using Symmetric PDS Plus is safe and efficient, with “time to clinical dryness” serving as a pragmatic indicator of early healing. Furthermore, bikini incisions significantly improve aesthetics without compromising safety, as wound complication risks are primarily driven by host comorbidities.

Site‐Specific Characterization and Quantification of Facial Corticosteroid Addiction Dermatitis: A Multimodal Nomogram Integrating High‐Frequency Ultrasonography and Transepidermal Water Loss

open access: yesSkin Research and Technology, Volume 32, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Background The evaluation of facial corticosteroid addiction dermatitis (FCAD) lacks objective criteria, and existing clinical evaluation methods largely ignore regional facial heterogeneity. This study aimed to develop a site‐adjusted multimodal nomogram integrating 22‐MHz high‐frequency ultrasonography (HFUS) and transepidermal water loss ...
