The opto‐electronic response of polycrystalline (PEA)2PbBr4 thin films is investigated by correlating macroscopic photodetector performance with nanoscale mapping techniques. Grain boundary density is systematically tuned through crystallization control and linked to device responsivity.

This paper presents an agar medium with a phosphorescent grid pattern that measures the stress distribution generated by growing plant roots. Using phosphorescence, the system optically separates the grid pattern from the root and extracts the grid deformation.

A historical development of the (n+1)-point secant method
Many finite-dimensional minimization problems and nonlinear equations can be solved using Secant Methods. In this thesis, we present a historical development of the (n + 1)-point Secant Method tracing its evolution back before Newton's Method.

An Improved Secant Type Method for Solving Nonlinear Optimization Problems
Abstract This project introduces an improved version of the Modern secant- kind method for solving nonlinear optimization problems. Steffensen’s method is used to generate the initial approximation, eliminating the need for second derivative calculations and improving computational efficiency.

Detection of Protein–Protein Interactions in Escherichia coli With Single Molecule Sensitivity
This article describes a regulatory circuit in Escherichia coli able to detect protein–protein interactions with exquisite sensitivity. The interaction between two hybrid proteins fused to Bordetella pertussis adenylate cyclase and its activator calmodulin triggers a potent cyclic AMP signaling cascade.

A modified secant method for unconstrained minimization
A gradient-secant algorithm for unconstrained optimization problems is presented. The algorithm uses Armijo gradient method iterations until it reaches a region where the Newton method is more efficient, and then switches over to a secant form of ...

Paternal Circadian Disruption Impairs Offspring Cognition via Sperm microRNAs
Paternal circadian disruption remodels the sperm small RNA payload, elevating miR‐92a‐3p/miR‐25‐3p levels and perturbing early embryonic gene regulatory programs. Microinjection experiments and single‐embryo transcriptomics reveal sex‐specific developmental vulnerabilities, ultimately impairing offspring hippocampal synaptic plasticity and cognition ...
