Second-harmonic generation in GaS crystals
Solid State Communications, 1997 Abstract Second-harmonic generation in the layered semiconductor GaS excited with the wavelength λ = 1579 nm is investigated with the Maker fringe technique. It is shown that the second-harmonic signal originates from domains in the crystal, which consist of the noncentrosymmetric C53v polytype.
