EP617 Second line treatment in metastatic uterine pecoma

International Journal of Gynecological Cancer, 2019
Introduction/Background Uterine perivascular epithelioid cell tumors (PEComas) are rare neoplasms associated with upregulation of the mTOR pathway, frequently through inactivation of TSC1/TSC2. [Second line treatments of cancers of the ovary].

La Revue du praticien, 1997
Ovarian adenocarcinomas are among the most chemosensitive tumors. Platinum derivatives are the most efficient agents. The role of the second-line therapy is either to treat the relapse (salvage therapy), or to prevent it (consolidation therapy). The most active agents in the salvage setting are new molecules: taxoids, vinorelbin, topotecan.

[Second-line treatments for Parkinson's disease].

La Revue du praticien
Following an initial phase characterized by a good response to dopaminergic therapies, Parkinson's disease progresses toward a stage marked by motor complications-notably motor fluctuations and dyskinesias. When the optimization of oral therapy proves insufficient, the use of second-line treatments must be considered.
