An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Second Order Superintegrable Systems in Three Dimensions

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2005
A classical (or quantum) superintegrable system on an n-dimensional Riemannian manifold is an integrable Hamiltonian system with potential that admits 2n-1 functionally independent constants of the motion that are polynomial in the momenta, the maximum ...

Waveform Design using Second Order Cone Programming in Radar Systems [PDF]

open access: yesAUT Journal of Electrical Engineering, 2019
Transmit waveform design is one of the most important problems in active sensing and communication systems. This problem, due to the complexity and non-convexity, has been always the main topic of many papers for the decades.

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Eigenstructure assignment by proportional-plus-derivative feedback for second-order linear control systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
summary:This paper introduces a complete parametric approach for solving the eigenstructure assignment problem using proportional-plus-derivative feedback for second-order linear control systems.

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Second-order superintegrable systems and Weylian geometry

open access: yesNuclear Physics B
Abundant second-order maximally conformally superintegrable Hamiltonian systems are re-examined, revealing their underlying natural Weyl structure and offering a clearer geometric context for the study of Stäckel transformations (also known as coupling ...
