Image Secret Sharing in Stego-Images with Authentication

Recently, a polynomial-based (t,n) image sharing and hiding schemes with authentication was proposed to hid n shares of a secret image into n ordinary cover images and form n stego-images that can be transmitted securely. But each stego-image of all existing method should be expanded to 4 times of the secret image.

In this paper a novel (t, n) threshold image secret sharing scheme is proposed. Based on the idea that there is close connection between secret sharing and coding theory, coding method on GF(2m) is applied in our scheme instead of the classical Lagrange's interpolation method in order to deal with the fidelity loss problem in the recovery.
