The regional sea level budget in the East China Sea (ECS) was investigated with satellite gravimetry, altimetry, steric and sediment datasets over the period from April 2002 to December 2022. The “sediment effect” due to the difference between the change

Significant Human Modification of the Lower Arkansas River Sediment Budget
Anthropogenic stressors on large rivers have significantly modified riverine sediment transport. However, the impacts of dredging and sand and gravel (S&G) mining are poorly monitored.

This work presents a closed‐loop optimization workflow integrating CatBot, an automated synthesis and testing system, to discover NiMo hydrogen‐evolution catalysts. CatBot synthesised and evaluated 228 unique samples, identifying the best performing catalysts for transfer to nickel‐foam electrodes. The best candidate is highly active, reaching 1 Acm−2${

Sediment budget possibilities and improbabilities
article Problems of constructing a sediment budget for an inlet isoften a challenge due to constraints on data collection, quality of data, and assumptions one is willing to consider. Existing literature does not provide a systematic foundation for equations considered and often engineers and geologists typically do not properly consider the ...

Rapid thermal annealing reconstructs the BCFO/Nb:STO interface into an atomically thin reconstructed interfacial layer, which reshapes the tunneling barrier and converts a high‐TER ferroelectric tunnel junction into an intrinsically nonlinear, self‐rectifying device.

SEDIMENT BUDGET OF THE LOWER FRASER RIVER
The Lower Fraser River, being continually developed for better navigation and larger port- facilities, is an area of active sedimentation. The dynamic processes influenced by river discharge, tides and winds are probably the most important factors in the transport and deposition of sediments in the estuary.

Magneto‐Ionic Devices With Polymer‐Based Electrolytes
Polymer electrolytes are introduced for magneto‐ionic devices based on hydroxide and hydrogen ions. The magneto‐ionic effect results in a pronounced voltage‐controlled variation of coercivity in both devices. The switching speed is in the range of 100 ms.

Critical Coupling in Semi‐Trasparent Fano Resonators for Photothermal Converters
An ultrathin metal–insulator multilayer architecture is engineered to exploit Fano‐resonant critical coupling, completely suppressing optical reflectance while achieving a balanced 50:50 trade‐off between absorbance and transmittance. Upon laser excitation at resonance, the metamaterial generates intense localized heat (ΔT≈550∘C$\Delta T {\approx }550^\
