Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

A Study of the Sedimentation and Storage Capacity Depletion of a Reservoir
Theoretical and empirical equations have previously been proposed to compute the sediment trap efficiency of a reservoir. The empirical equations were developed by analyzing a limited amount of field data for reservoirs in selected areas; thus, their ...

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Post‐Wildfire Sediment Fluxes and Turbidity Plumes in a Coastal‐Draining Watershed
Coastal watersheds impacted by wildfires experience higher erosion resulting in increased sediment delivery to the ocean that alters limiting factors (i.e., light) for marine organisms.

A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Hydroclimatic control on suspended sediment dynamics of a regulated Alpine catchment: a conceptual approach [PDF]
We analyse the control of hydroclimatic factors on suspended sediment concentration (SSC) in Alpine catchments by differentiating among the potential contributions of erosion and suspended sediment transport driven by erosive rainfall, defined as ...

High-temporal resolution fluvial sediment source fingerprinting with uncertainty: a Bayesian approach [PDF]
This contribution addresses two developing areas of sediment fingerprinting research. Specifically, how to improve the temporal resolution of source apportionment estimates whilst minimizing analytical costs and, secondly, how to consistently quantify ...

Suspended Sediment Rating Curves for Heterogeneous Karst Watersheds
Abstract Water‐sediment relationships are complicated in karst areas of southwest China due to regional extreme climate, special geological conditions, shallow soil layer, heterogeneous geomorphology and landscape.
