Evolutionary interplay between viruses and R‐loops
Viruses interact with specialized nucleic acid structures called R‐loops to influence host transcription, epigenetic states, latency, and immune evasion. This Perspective examines the roles of R‐loops in viral replication, integration, and silencing, and how viruses co‐opt or avoid these structures.

Spillage sedimentation on large river floodplains
Active deposition across the floodplains of large rivers arises through a variety of processes; collectively these are here termed ‘spillage sedimentation’.

Grain sedimentation inside giant planet embryos
In the context of massive fragmenting protoplanetary discs, Boss (1998) suggested that grains can grow and sediment inside giant planet embryos formed at R ~ 5 AU away from the star. Several authors since then criticised the suggestion.

This study reveals how prime editing guide RNA (pegRNA) secondary structure and reverse transcriptase template length affect prime editing efficiency in correcting the phospholamban R14del cardiomyopathy‐associated mutation. Insights support the design of structurally optimized enhanced pegRNAs for precise gene therapy.

The use of sediment simulation model in determining the service life of Ekbatan Dam reservoir [PDF]
Erosion and sedimentation phenomena have many destructive effects on the environment and human life. One of their most important effects is to reduce the volume of dam reservoirs.

Sedimentation stacking diagrams of binary mixtures of thick and thin hard rods
We use Onsager theory and the local density approximation to study sedimentation-diffusion equilibrium density profiles of binary mixtures of thick and thin hard rods.

Modeling hydrography and marine sedimentation in the Cariaco Basin since the Last Glacial Maximum [PDF]
The Cariaco Basin has shallow connections with the Caribbean Sea, and these are further reduced at times of lower sea level, such as at the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM).

MET variants in the N‐lobe of the kinase domain, found in hereditary papillary renal cell carcinoma, require ligand stimulation to promote cell transformation, in contrast to other RTK variants. This suggests that HGF expression in the microenvironment is important for tumor growth in such patients. Their sensitivity to MET inhibitors opens the way for
