Diallyl Trisulfide From Garlic Regulates RAB18 Phase Separation to Inhibit Lipophagy and Induce Cuproptosis in Hepatic Stellate Cells for Antifibrotic Effects

Diallyl trisulfides (DATs) selectively induce cuproptosis in hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) by targeting Ras‐related protein Rab‐18 (RAB18) and regulating lipophagy. DATs promote RAB18 phase separation, enhance mitochondrial‐associated membrane structures (MAMs) formation, and increase succinylation of dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase (DLD) at K320.

Genealogy of a Wright Fisher model with strong seed bank component [PDF]

We investigate the behaviour of the genealogy of a Wright-Fisher population model under the influence of a strong seed-bank effect. More precisely, we consider a simple seed-bank age distribution with two atoms, leading to either classical or long genealogical jumps (the latter modeling the effect of seed-dormancy).

IL‐33‐Induced TREM2+ Macrophages Promote Pathological New Bone Formation Through CREG1‐IGF2R Axis in Ankylosing Spondylitis

This study identifies TREM2+ macrophages as key contributors to pathological bone formation in ankylosing spondylitis (AS). These macrophages mediate pathological new bone formation via the CREG1‐IGF2R‐PI3K‐AKT pathway and are regulated by IL‐33 through STAT6 phosphorylation.
