Antiviral Amentoflavone from Selaginella sinensis
Amentoflavone and three other flavonoids were isolated from the ethanol extract of Selaginella sinensis. Amentoflavone showed potent antiviral activity against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), with an IC50 of 5.5 microg/ml.
