Co‐assembly of rationally designed glycosaminoglycan‐binding peptides with sulfated glycosaminoglycans yields supramolecular hydrogels with tunable mechanics and matrix‐mediated cytokine retention. The glycosaminoglycans thereby act as cofactors, driving a coil‐to‐β‐sheet transition that triggers gelation.

Operational analysis of long-span steel box self-anchored track suspension bridge
The long-span steel box self-anchored track suspension bridge is prone to deformation under long-term train and temperature loads, which seriously affects the structural safety and operation performance.

This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...

Application and Practice of Replaceable Main Cable Strand Anchorage Scheme in Self-Anchored Suspension Bridges [PDF]
The main cable strands of self-anchored suspension bridges are typically anchored directly to the back of concrete or steel girders, a construction method that has durability issues.

We developed a patient‐derived, functional microfluidic model of the diffuse midline glioma (DMG) blood–brain–tumor barrier (BBTB) comprised of endothelial cells, astrocytes, pericytes, and tumor cells. The system forms perfusable microvasculature, reveals the BBTB retains vascular integrity, identifies DMG‐specific transcriptomic changes distinct from

An ionic naphthalimide AIE photosensitizer (PS), TPAPV‐NIM‐M, anchors to cellular and bacterial membranes, emits in the far‐red/near‐infrared (NIR) region, and efficiently generates reactive oxygen species (ROS) under white light. Its membrane‐localized photodynamic action drives apoptosis/ferroptosis‐mediated tumor suppression and broad‐spectrum ...

Field‐programmed anisotropy imparts material‐level intelligence to soft composites. Magnetic torque dynamics drive magneto‐piezoelectric nanowires from random dispersion into deterministic axial alignment. The resulting hierarchical percolation networks confine electromechanical coupling to specific axes and intrinsically decouple superposed force ...
