Sulfation‐Tunable Peptide‐Glycosaminoglycan Hydrogels for Hematopoietic Stem and Progenitor Cell Expansion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Co‐assembly of rationally designed glycosaminoglycan‐binding peptides with sulfated glycosaminoglycans yields supramolecular hydrogels with tunable mechanics and matrix‐mediated cytokine retention. The glycosaminoglycans thereby act as cofactors, driving a coil‐to‐β‐sheet transition that triggers gelation.

Operational analysis of long-span steel box self-anchored track suspension bridge

open access: yesJournal of Low Frequency Noise, Vibration and Active Control
The long-span steel box self-anchored track suspension bridge is prone to deformation under long-term train and temperature loads, which seriously affects the structural safety and operation performance.

Cellular Responses to Mechanical Cues Across Scales: From Fundamental Insights to Translational Potential

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...

Application and Practice of Replaceable Main Cable Strand Anchorage Scheme in Self-Anchored Suspension Bridges [PDF]

open access: yes预应力技术
The main cable strands of self-anchored suspension bridges are typically anchored directly to the back of concrete or steel girders, a construction method that has durability issues.

Engineered Microvascular Model of the Blood–Brain–Tumor Barrier Reveals Endothelial Remodeling in Diffuse Midline Glioma

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We developed a patient‐derived, functional microfluidic model of the diffuse midline glioma (DMG) blood–brain–tumor barrier (BBTB) comprised of endothelial cells, astrocytes, pericytes, and tumor cells. The system forms perfusable microvasculature, reveals the BBTB retains vascular integrity, identifies DMG‐specific transcriptomic changes distinct from

Fragility Analysis of a Self-Anchored Suspension Bridge Based on Structural Health Monitoring Data

open access: yesAdvances in Civil Engineering, 2019
This paper presents an improved fragility analysis methodology to estimate structural vulnerability for probabilistic seismic risk assessment. Three main features distinguish this study from previous efforts.

A Naphthalimide‐Based NIR‐Emissive AIE Photosensitizer for Synergistic Apoptosis/Ferroptosis‐Mediated Antitumor Therapy and Broad‐Spectrum Bacterial Inactivation With Rapid Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
An ionic naphthalimide AIE photosensitizer (PS), TPAPV‐NIM‐M, anchors to cellular and bacterial membranes, emits in the far‐red/near‐infrared (NIR) region, and efficiently generates reactive oxygen species (ROS) under white light. Its membrane‐localized photodynamic action drives apoptosis/ferroptosis‐mediated tumor suppression and broad‐spectrum ...

Determination and Implementation of Reasonable Completion State for the Self-Anchored Suspension Bridge with Extra-Wide Concrete Girder

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
The present work is aimed at studying the determination method and implementation process of reasonable completion state for the Hunan Road Bridge, which is currently the widest concrete self-anchored suspension bridge in China. The global finite element

Field‐Programmed Anisotropy in Magneto‐Piezoelectric Composites for Material‐Encoded Mechanoperception

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Field‐programmed anisotropy imparts material‐level intelligence to soft composites. Magnetic torque dynamics drive magneto‐piezoelectric nanowires from random dispersion into deterministic axial alignment. The resulting hierarchical percolation networks confine electromechanical coupling to specific axes and intrinsically decouple superposed force ...

System Transformation Scheme of Self-anchored Suspension Bridge of Non-extension Suspender Cables and Numerical Simulation of Cable Saddle

open access: yes工程科学与技术, 2023
To reduce the construction cost, improve the construction efficiency and simplify the analysis process of system transformation of a self-anchored suspension bridge, the influencing parameters of the main cable sag were derived based on the parabola ...
