A New Audio Steganography System Based on Auto-Key Generator

open access: yesAl-Khawarizmi Engineering Journal, 2012
Stenography is the art of hiding the very presence of communication by embedding secret message into innocuous looking cover document, such as digital image, videos, sound files, and other computer files that contain perceptually irrelevant or redundant ...

Ultrasmall High‐Entropy Materials: Nanoscale Effects, Synthesis, and Mechanistic Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review article focuses on sub‐10 nm high‐entropy materials that combine nanoscale design with complex compositions for next‐generation applications. ABSTRACT Ultrasmall high‐entropy nanomaterials (USHENMs, <10 nm) merge multicomponent chemistry with size‐dependent effects, forming a distinct class of materials with unprecedented properties.

Digitizing the Filtration Interface: A Smart, Modular Janus Wood Platform for Self‐Reporting Oil/Water Remediation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work developed a smart Janus wood membrane integrating asymmetric wettability with built‐in electrical sensing for oil‐water separation. The membrane achieved > 99.5% separation efficiency and high flux by leveraging wood's natural anisotropic pore structure.

Self-concepts of primary students with mild intellectual disabilities : issues of measurement and educational placement

open access: yes, 2000
The educational placement of students with mild intellectual disabilities remains controversial. Arguments for educational placement are often based upon the anticipated impact upon self-concept.

Powering Nanocrystal‐Based Heat Engines With Light‐Emitting Metasurfaces That Influence Their Temperature

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Metasurfaces and other structured photonic environments can dramatically modify the absorption and/or light emission of semiconductors. However, the consequences of these changes on the temperature of the system are not well understood. The authors address this problem for colloidal nanocrystals and leverage their findings to convert light into ...

Pickering‐Engineered Microparticles for Magnetically Guided Motion and Light‐Triggered Catalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetically responsive wax microparticles stabilized by hematite cubes through the Pickering emulsification strategy are developed, showing controlled size, motion, and light‐activated catalytic activity. Annealing under a magnetic field enhances their mobility and steering.

The self-embedding theorem of WKL0 and a non-standard method

open access: yesAnnals of Pure and Applied Logic, 1997
\(\text{WKL}_0\) is a system of second-order arithmetic consisting of the axioms of discretely ordered semirings, \(\Sigma^{0}_1\) induction, \(\Delta^{0}_1\) comprehension and weak König's lemma. The paper is devoted to the proof of the following version of Friedman's embedding theorem: every countable model of \(\text{WKL}_0\) is isomorphic to a ...
