The relation of self-concept to desirable educational outcomes

open access: yes, 2006
Reviewers (Byrne, 1996a, 1996b; Hattie, 1992; Marsh, Byrne, & Shavelson, 1988; Marsh & Craven, 1997; Craven, Marsh, & Burnett, 2003) consider that self-concept is multifaceted and espouse that self-concept cannot be adequately understood if its ...

Eco‐Geography Reverses Dominant AMR Reservoirs in Klebsiella pneumoniae: Integron‐Rich Mobilomes and Cross‐Niche Connectivity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Dominant antimicrobial resistance reservoirs in Klebsiella pneumoniae vary across eco‐geographic settings rather than following a universal pattern. Integrated One Health and global genomic analyses show that lineage structure, integron load, and cross‐niche connectivity shape whether AMR burden accumulates primarily in human or nonhuman compartments ...

A comprehensive multilevel model meta-analysis of self-concept interventions

open access: yes, 2006
The efficacy of self-concept interventions has previously been examined through traditional meta-analytic methods, and a host of moderators of intervention outcomes have been identified (O’Mara, Marsh, & Craven, 2004; Haney & Durlak, 1998; Hattie, 1992).

Balancing Stealth and Targetability: cCPP‐ and PEG‐Modified Liposomes for the Targeted Delivery of Anti‐HER2 Nanobodies

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study addresses the rapid renal clearance of anti‐HER2 nanobodies by developing specialized liposomal carriers. It details the formulation of dual modified liposomes, demonstrating how PEGylation preserves structural integrity and cell‐penetrating peptides enhance cellular interaction.

Nitrogen fertilization of self-seeding Italian ryegrass: effects on plant structure, forage and seed yield

open access: yesCiência Rural
: This study aimed to evaluate the effect of different levels of self-seeding Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum Lam.) and nitrogen rates - applied additionally after two defoliations - on plant structure, in forage and seed yield.

Inbreeding depression in Solanum carolinense (Solanaceae), a species with a plastic self-incompatibility response

open access: yes, 2008
Background Solanum carolinense (horsenettle) is a highly successful weed with a gametophytic self-incompatibility (SI) system. Previous studies reveal that the strength of SI in S. carolinense is a plastic trait, associated with particular S-alleles. The

Single‐Atom Intercalation‐Driven Topological Ferroelectric Metal for High‐Performance Hydrogen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐atom Cu intercalation enables porous AB3 monolayers to integrate ferroelectricity, metallicity, topology, and hydrogen evolution catalysis in one platform. Switchable FE polarization modulates work function and hydrogen adsorption thermodynamics, providing an electrically controllable route to activate basal‐plane HER activity in topological ...

Body image and self-concept in adolescent girls

open access: yes, 2006
Anorexia Nervosa has been recently recognized as one of the most common chronic illnesses that affects the female adolescent population today. Although there has been an abundance of research into eating disorders in a variety of fields, significant ...

DataSheet_1_Preventing self-fertilization: Insights from Ziziphus species.pdf

open access: yes, 2023
The fitness of self-progeny individuals is inferior to that of their outcrossed counterparts, resulting in a reduction in a plant population’s ability to survive and reproduce.

Resistant Peanut Genotype Reprograms Rhizosphere Metabolism to Enhance Bacterial Wilt Suppression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The resistant peanut genotype selectively recruits beneficial bacteria, which coincides with the activation of salicylic acid (SA)‐dependent systemic acquired resistance (SAR) against Ralstonia solanacearum. Keystone rhizosphere metabolites are positively correlated with both beneficial microbiome assembly and SAR gene expression.
