Effects of Interstitial Solutes on the Microstructures of Self-Ion Irradiated Vanadium [PDF]

Vanadium and vanadium containing 0.1 percent carbon, 0.4 percent carbon, 1.0 percent nitrogen, and 1.0 percent oxygen were irradiated with 3-MeV 51V+ ions in the temperature range 650 to 880°C (1202 to 1616°F) to a dose level of ∼20 dpa. The results show that nitrogen is most effective in controlling the void swelling.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying

An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance.
