Nocturnal Intraocular Pressure Monitoring With a Soft Contact Lens Sensor for Glaucoma Management

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A soft contact lens sensor enables continuous, noninvasive monitoring of nocturnal intraocular pressure (IOP) under closed‐eye sleep conditions. By integrating a highly compliant inductive–capacitive circuit onto a commercial lens, the device achieves record sensitivity and stable performance.

Vibration Control and Energy-Regenerative Performance Analysis of an Energy-Regenerative Magnetorheological Semi-Active Suspension

open access: yesWorld Electric Vehicle Journal
To improve both ride comfort and energy efficiency, this study proposes a semi-active suspension system equipped with an electromagnetic linear energy-regenerative magnetorheological damper (ELEMRD). The ELEMRD integrates a magnetorheological damper (MRD)

Cell Adhesion by Design: Engineering Tissue Culture Scaffolds With Adhesion Cues

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In scaffold‐based tissue engineering, the matrix should provide adequate adhesion cues for cell attachment, spreading, and function. Given the multitude of adhesion receptors and the diversity of scaffolds, there are many approaches to render scaffolds adhesive, even though they are not all equivalent.

Research on Inertial Force Attenuation Structure and Semi-Active Control of Regenerative Suspension

open access: yesApplied Sciences
To improve the energy recovery ability of the energy-regenerative suspension, a transmission is generally used to increase the motor speed, but this results in a significant increase in the equivalent inertial mass of the suspension.

Studies And Simulations Of Semi-Active Vehicle Suspension System [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A semi-active suspension system is considered to be one of the most realistic solutions for improving the ride quality of vehicles, because of its smaller energy consumption compared with that of active suspension systems.

Sensitive and Spatially‐Resolved Electrochemiluminescence via Micropatterning

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
The use of a simple silica nanoparticle surface coating and patterning process can transform ordinary gold electrodes into multiplexed ECL sensing electrodes. Through spatially confined droplet formation and local ECL emission, it is possible to perform multiple analyses simultaneously from individual locations as well as intensify the ECL signal by as
