De Rerum Natura: How Do Halide Perovskites Self‐Heal From Damage?
How can lead‐halide‐perovskites self‐heal after damage from light, heat, mechanical strain, or radiation? We show that reversible chemical defects underly performance losses and recovery, highlighting the roles of halide and proton migration, redox‐driven reactions, and acid‐base equilibria.

Data-Driven Shape Analysis and Processing [PDF]
Data-driven methods play an increasingly important role in discovering geometric, structural, and semantic relationships between 3D shapes in collections, and applying this analysis to support intelligent modeling, editing, and visualization of geometric

Rigidity and flexibility of biological networks
The network approach became a widely used tool to understand the behaviour of complex systems in the last decade. We start from a short description of structural rigidity theory.

Carrying Capacity of Semi-Rigid Joint of Timber-Concrete Beams [PDF]
The aim of this article is a presentation of the results of laboratory tests and numerical and analytical modeling of timber-concrete composite beams with semi-rigid joints made of steel plates and convex nails. Due to good quality of used materials, composite timber-concrete constructions are considered a suitable solution for new buildings and ...

Advances in MoS2‐Au Nanostructured Platforms for Cancer‐Derived miRNA Detection
This figure presents the roadmap and scope of this review on microRNA detection technologies, with emphasis on MoS2 and MoS2–Au hybrid nanostructures. It traces the evolution from conventional assays to MoS2‐based SERS platforms, highlights synthesis, interfacial chemistry, and signal‐enhancement mechanisms, and summarizes key challenges and future ...

Study on the Fire Resistance of Castellated Composite Beams with Semi-Rigid Restraints
To study the fire resistance of castellated composite beams with semi-rigid restraints, temperature rise tests with constant loads were performed on two full-scale castellated composite beams with circular holes and semi-rigid restraints to compare the ...

SEISMIC ANALYSIS OF FRAMED STEEL STRUCTURE WITH SEMI- RIGID JOINTS
Beam-to-column joints of steel frames traditionally have been modelled either as ideally pinned or ideally perfectly rigid. This paper presents the seismic analysis of typical steel framed structure including the influence of real joint stiffness. In the first part of analysis the real rigid joints have been introduced, but in the second part the ...

Geometric nonlinear vibration analysis of steel frames with semi-rigid connections and rigid-zones
To obtain an accurate insight into the behavior of the most realistic steel frames, joint flexibility should be allowed for in the analysis. So far, most research work is concentrated on the linear and geometric nonlinear static analysis of steel frames
