Ryr1 deletion reduces Ca2+ microdomains and delays global Ca2+ signaling in naïve CD4+ T cells but does not impair their activation, proliferation, or differentiation in vitro. Despite altered Ca2+ signaling, Ryr1 expression in CD4+ T cells was dispensable for their pathogenicity in murine models of intestinal inflammation.

SPIE Proceedings, 2010A 1043nm semiconductor disk laser with a diamond heatspreader is presented. 880mW continuous-wave output power is produced using a 3% output coupler with the incident pump power of 5900mW. The slope-efficiency is 16.7% and the optical- to-optical conversion efficiency is 14.9%. The effect of the diamond heatspreader on the laser is also analyzed.

High Power Semiconductor Disk Lasers
2005 Pacific Rim Conference on Lasers & Electro-Optics, 2005We present high-power emission from semiconductor disk lasers. By intra-cavity frequency-doubling of multi-Watt infra-red emission, more than 0.6 W of blue and green have been generated. 200 mW have been achieved directly for red emitters.
