On the Absorptions of Bacterium in the Seminal Vesicles

open access: yes, 1955
Absorptions of the bacterial solutions in the seminal vesicles of normal and immunized guinea pigs has been observed. The solution of staphylococcus aureus (FDAP209) has been better absorbed in the seminal vesicles of normal guinea pigs than in any other

RPLP2 Mediates the Beneficial Effects of Exercise on Stress Resistance Through Muscle–Brain Communication

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel exercise‐inducible myokine acidic ribosomal protein P2 (RPLP2), initially identified from human trials, is presented here, whose circulating levels negatively correlate with clinical anxiety severity. Muscle‐derived RPLP2 enhances hippocampal ribosomal assembly and adult neurogenesis to rescue stress‐induced anxiety deficits.

Microenvironment‐Responsive Nanomedicine Enables Vertical Modulation of Mitochondrial Pathological Networks in Myocardial Ischemia–Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A mitochondria‐targeted, microenvironment‐responsive nanoplatform enables pH/ROS‐triggered co‐delivery of berberine and isoliensinine to orchestrate ROS scavenging, inflammation suppression, and apoptosis inhibition. This vertical modulation of mitochondrial pathological networks preserves mitochondrial function and effectively mitigates myocardial ...

Intermittent Fasting Restores Cardiac Lipid Homeostasis in Diabetic Cardiomyopathy in Association With Akkermansia Muciniphila and 1‐methyl‐L‐histidine

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Intermittent fasting reshapes the gut microbiota in diabetic cardiomyopathy, restoring Akkermansia muciniphila and the microbiota‐associated metabolite 1‐methyl‐L‐histidine. This shift is linked to improved cardiac lipid homeostasis, reduced lipid peroxidation, and attenuated myocardial injury, highlighting a gut microbiota–metabolite–lipid axis in ...

CALB2 is a Mechanoresistance Gene in Metastatic Prostate Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Prostate cancer cell lines of differing origins were cultured over many passages while being subjected to semi‐lethal levels of fluid shear stress, representing the harsh mechanical environment these cells are subjected to in the circulation during the process of distant metastasis.

Intra-prostatic tumour evolution, steps in metastatic spread and histogenomic associations revealed by integration of multi-region whole-genome sequencing with histopathological features

open access: yesGenome Medicine
Background Extension of prostate cancer beyond the primary site by local invasion or nodal metastasis is associated with poor prognosis. Despite significant research on tumour evolution in prostate cancer metastasis, the emergence and evolution of cancer

Histochemical study on lactic dehydrogenase of the seminal vesicles

open access: yes, 1969
Histochemical changes of lactic dehydrogenase activity according to aging were studied on the seminal vesicles of guinea pigs. The effect on lactic dehydrogenase activity of androgen injections, estrogen injections, castration, castration followed by ...

Probiotic‐Derived Vesicles Rectally Delivered via Thermo‐Gelling Copolymer Promote Mucosal Healing and Reduce Inflammation in Ulcerative Colitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A thermo‐responsive rectal delivery platform integrating probiotic‐derived extracellular vesicles within a hyaluronic acid‐based copolymer enables localized and sustained therapy for ulcerative colitis. The formulation effectively suppresses inflammation, promotes macrophage polarization toward a regenerative phenotype, restores epithelial barrier ...
